CDI LLC (now part of AHEAD) is a New York-based IT services firm specializing in cloud solutions, digital transformation, and hybrid IT management. They partner with organizations to architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud and data infrastructure.
Veeam Cloud Management
CDI partnered with Sussman to develop a multi-channel campaign promoting their Veeam cloud data protection services. The goal was to generate high-quality leads, boost engagement with educational content, and position CDI as a trusted resource in a competitive market. The campaign needed to balance value-driven education with clear conversion paths.
We built a full-funnel approach, including a standalone landing page for direct meeting scheduling and a multi-step funnel offering the “DRaaS for Dummies” guide first, followed by a prompt to book time with CDI’s team. Targeted ad campaigns drove qualified users to both experiences and helped guide prospects from awareness to conversion in a streamlined, intuitive flow.
The campaign performed exceptionally well. The multi-step funnel increased guide downloads by 38% and boosted meeting requests by 22%, while ad engagement rose by 30% across channels. Overall, the landing pages maintained an average 12% conversion rate.
Splunk Up Your Life! Campaign
CDI needed a bold, attention-grabbing campaign to announce their expanded Splunk services after acquiring Kintyre. The goal was to inform existing customers, generate new leads, and reinforce CDI as a certified, trusted Splunk partner—all while delivering a fresh creative direction that broke away from traditional B2B visuals. The biggest challenge was striking the right balance: injecting personality and nostalgic fun without losing technical credibility.
We leaned all the way into a retro 90s-inspired theme, pairing bright colors, playful patterns, and cheeky headlines like “Splunk Up Your Life,” “Got Splunk?” and “Splunk There It Is.” Two landing page variations were built for testing: one offering use cases directly on the page, and another gating them behind an email submission with a downloadable PDF. Both paths included clear CTAs to schedule a meeting with CDI’s team.
The campaign was a standout success. The retro creative direction broke through the noise, driving a noticeable spike in engagement across paid ads and email. The A/B test revealed some meaningful behavioral differences: the gated version generated 25% more emails captured, while the ungated version produced 20% more meeting requests, giving the sales team a balanced mix of leads. Internally, the campaign was celebrated for pushing boundaries and delivering something genuinely fun—though the Gen Xers and millennials may have been a little biased.
